The purpose of the Outreach Specialist is to enhance service delivery in the coordination and recruitment (social media & community outreach and some clinic in-reach) for the HIV Prevention Program. Services this position will provide includes community-based and social network outreach, rapid HIV testing, Mpowerment intervention referrals (coverage as needed) and PrEP/PEP education and referrals. This position will assist the team to improve the health of LGBTQ, at risk and other same gender loving individuals in the Bronx; will create, execute, and manage day-to-day social media content and activities including text, images, and video on social media channels and dating apps (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Grinder, Jack’d, YouTube, blogs, etc.); will develop and integrate social media influencer strategies and assist in the planning, development, and execution of social media campaigns and activations across owned and earned social channels. Provide continual measurement and analysis of social media initiatives; will maintain a professional profile and maintain professional boundaries with online and in-person interactions at all times. This position is 100% grant funded.
