T.E.A.M. LOFT is one of The LOFT's volunteering groups that goes out to the community and volunteers at a special event every month.

T.E.A.M. LOFT is volunteering at the Our New Way Garden on August 4th from 10:00am-1:00pm!

The group will meet at the Garden 1 Caserella Way West Harrison NY, United States 10604.

Gardening activities may include:

- Transplanting seedlings or seeding directly into the fields
- Weeding and harvesting crops
- Mulching and composting
- Creating new garden beds

New Way Garden Mission Statement: "Our New Way Garden is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization.  Our mission is to utilize gardens to educate the public about locally and naturally grown food and to increase access to healthy organic produce to those who otherwise would not have access to such foods in their communities.  By establishing gardens and donating produce, seeds and seedling, Our New Way Garden intends facilitate small local businesses and provide productive activities and positive sources of income for youth at a time when opportunities are limited."  

"We donate a majority of our harvest to locally based organizations who feed the greater Westchester community. Our New Way Garden grows food without the use of herbicides pesticides or chemical fertilizers.  Our gardens are on commercial, private and public lands."
