    TransParentcy Youth Group

    This group is run by Center Lane:

    TransParentcy is run by Center Lane staff at The LOFT center in White Plains. TransParentcy is a group for transgender, non binary, and gender nonconforming youth (ages 13-21) and their parents/guardians. During this meeting, both youth and parents/guardians meet with Center Lane staff to have their own separately held support groups.

    TransParentcy meets at The LOFT on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of every month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.  TransParentcy (Youth Only) meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

    Due to the Christmas Holiday, December's meetings will be held on the 11th and the 18th at 6:30 pm

    Center Lane is where LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-21 create community, connect with LGBTQ culture, and contribute to the world.  Our groups are welcoming spaces facilitated by caring, supportive, and knowledgable adults in an affirming space where participants can make friends, discuss issues that are important to them, and problem-solve with the help of their peers.  Our Program Center provides structured programming in which participants learn from our staff, community mentors, and each other to enhance skills and access services, while building community with other LGBTQ-identified teens.  Visit our website for more information and a current schedule of programs and activities:  www.centerlaneny.org

    Sexual Compulsives Anonymous (SCA)

    exual Compulsives Anonymous (SCA) is a 12-Step Recovery program for sexual compulsion, sex addiction and romantic obsession.

    SCA meets weekly on Thursday evenings from 7pm-8:15pm  

    SCA's primary purpose is to stay sexually sober and to help others to achieve sexual sobriety. Members are encouraged to develop their own sexual recovery plan, and to define sexual sobriety for themselves.

    It is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other, that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from sexual compulsion.

    Crystal Meth Anonymous

    Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) is a fellowship of individuals who share their experience, strength and hope with each other, so they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from addiction to crystal meth.

    Westchester Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) meets every Thursday from 7:30pm-8:30pm at The LOFT.
    Those who attend are invited to an informal post-meeting fellowship at a nearby diner after the meeting (Low prices; good food)

    About CMA:

    The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using. There are no dues or fees for CMA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. CMA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; and neither endorses nor opposes any causes.

    Our primary purpose is to lead a sober life and to carry the message of recovery to the crystal meth addict who still suffers.

    Lesbian Social Network

    The Lesbian Social Network (LSN) is a sexual orientation-focused support group primarily for women who identify as lesbian. Bi-, questioning-, and queer-identified women are welcome, as are women who do not identify as lesbian themselves but whose partners do. The group’s emphasis is on socializing, making friends, and having fun in a self-affirming environment.

    The Lesbian Social Network meets every 2nd and 4th Friday of each month at The LOFT, 7:30pm-9:00pm.

    January 24th's LSN will be a group's choice movie night.  We'll select a film from The LOFT Library's over 500 LGBT titles. Don't worry, we'll make the selection process fun!  Bring your favorite movie time snack to share


    LOFT Peer Support Groups are open topic drop-in groups. There is no need to preregister and no fee to attend. Donations are welcome. They are lead by facilitators who identify as peers with those in attendance.

    Dine-OUT

    Dine-OUT is a new Silver Connections program that meets every other month for brunch, lunch or dinner at restaurants around the county.

    The Transgender Peer Support Group is an open topic group run by a trained facilitator for individuals who identify as transgender, transsexual, cross-dresser, gender variant, gender queer or intersex (18 and older). Partners of transgender group participants are also welcome.

    Entertainment at Eight is a film screening group, which gathers twice a month to watch and discuss both contemporary and classic LGBT and mainstream films.

    Synopsis:  No sooner does Italian-American widow Loretta (Cher) accept a marriage proposal from her doltish boyfriend, Johnny (Danny Aiello), than she finds herself falling for his younger brother, Ronny (Nicolas Cage). She tries to resist, but Ronny lost his hand in an accident he blames on his brother, and has no scruples about aggressively pursuing her while Johnny is out of the country. As Loretta falls deeper in love, she comes to learn that she's not the only one in her family with a secret romance.

    OUT Walking

         Next Meeting: Sunday, January 26th from 10:00am-12:30pm

    Where: Sylvan Glen Preserve

    Sylvan Glen Preserve features approximately 200 acres of woods and wetlands. We will traverse approximately 4 miles of the preserve, weather pending. The trails are slightly uneven, but are suited for most skill levels.
