Research on the experiences of transgender women. This study is being led by a transgender researcher and it has been reviewed by the University of Maryland College Park Institutional Review Board.

Dear Young Adult Transgender Group member,

My name is Jason and I am part of a team of transgender and allied researchers at the University of Maryland. We are studying how transgender women’s daily experiences impact their well-being. We are searching for transgender women to participate in this study, and we would like you to consider participating.

We use a 5-10 minute online “diary” survey, taken each evening for one week to learn more about transgender women’s daily experiences. You will be compensated $10 dollars for full participation, and partial compensation for partial participation. 

To participate in this study, you must be 1) 18 years of age or older, 2) currently living within the United States, 3) identify as a transgender woman, and 4) able to access the Internet everyday.

Every transgender woman, like yourself, that participates in the study will play an instrumental role in building a body of accurate knowledge about transgender women’s lives.
