The LOFT Book Club is an open group which meets monthly to discuss different LGBT literary selections.

From Pulp Fiction to Queer Literature, The LOFT’s Book Club is your way of keeping up on the latest in LGBT literature, while finally getting to those better-known genre pieces you haven’t gotten around to reading.

The LOFT Book Club is presented by The LOFT Library & David Bohnett Cyber Center.

Discussion on September 19th:  American War by Omar El Akkad 

An audacious and powerful debute novel: a second American Civil War, a devastating plague, and one family caught deep in the middle of a story that asks what might happen if America were to turn its most devastating policies and deadly weapons upon itself.

LOFT Social Groups are open groups which welcome everyone ages 18 and over. There is no need to preregister and no fee to attend. Donations are welcome. They are lead by facilitators who identify as peers with those in attendance.

There is no fee to attend groups but a $5 donation is suggested, more if you can, less if you can’t.  Fees related to activities are to the responsibility of participants.
