Throughout our lives we experience all sorts of types of loss such as a partner, family member, pet, job, health, relationship, etc. This discussion and support group is for members of the LGBTQ community to have a safe space to grieve and discuss the feelings of loss they are experiencing.
Lambda Peer Support Services provides workshops, ongoing and short-term support groups, Holiday Connections activities, and other programs and activities for the LGBTQ Community of the Lower Hudson Valley. All support groups are conducted by trained peer facilitators under the ongoing supervision of certified clinicians. LPSS strives to foster a sense of community, erase stereotypes about homosexuality and to address the effects of homophobia, discrimination and prejudice.
