A4TE is Hiring!

I am thrilled to share some exciting updates with you! Since our founding, TLDEF has continuously grown to meet the needs of the communities we serve under an increasingly challenging political climate. As we get ready to officially merge with the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) to form A4TE (Advocates for Trans Equality), we're once again expanding our team to continue fighting for the legal and political rights of trans and nonbinary people in the United States. Please see below for A4TE's two new positions. Both are remote-eligible full-time positions, and Kevin Chase Executive Search Group will be leading this recruitment effort on behalf of A4TE. Applications will be received on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

 

 

Chief Strategic Programs Officer ($160k-$180k)

 

A4TE is looking for a culturally competent, emotionally intelligent, savvy, collaborative and decisive Chief Strategic Programs Officer.

 

This remote-eligible full-time position will be responsible for ensuring the programs and goals of the Legal and Policy teams are aligned with A4TE's mission while being on track for success. They'll do this by overseeing and leading a growing team of 18 advocating in the executive, legislative and judicial branches at the federal, state, and local levels on behalf of transgender Americans. The position operates as a direct leader of the Strategic Programs team, and also as an active, collaborative member of the A4TE Executive Leadership Team.

 

 

General Counsel ($160k-$180k)

In this newly created position, the General Counsel will serve as the primary legal advisor for A4TE, providing guidance and oversight on all legal and compliance matters. The General Counsel will play a crucial role in shaping the organization’s legal strategies, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The General Counsel will serve as a key advisor on all legal, policy, operational, and administrative issues – including labor and labor relations – while providing support for governance and tax matters.

 

 

With close to 500 anti-LGBTQ bills currently being tracked in the U.S., I am heartened to know that we are expanding our team of dedicated and talented people, as part of building a lasting path forward for trans equity and joy.
