In the Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Counties area HVCS is looking for Male Educators. Supervisors of CHAPS2 Program the Young Gay Men Educator in Mt. Veron is responsible for activities of this program. Working as a team educators will be implementing HIV/STI and HVC risk reduction for young men of color who have sex with men (YMSM) . Other services include medical, social and mental health services.  This is a Full time position opportunity. Tasks include;

• Creating a client list
• Complete intakes
• Conduct target outreach; in public and Social Media
• Develop and maintain contact within the community; high schools, colleges, Youth centers and LGBT organizations  

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Social Work or Human Services 
• Related degree with at least 2 years experience working with High-risk LGBT communities
• Knowledgeable in two of the following; HIV/AIDS-Substance Abuse-Harm reduction counseling-LGBT issues
• Must be able to interacting with diverse populations
• Valid Drivers license and Access to a car is required
• Some Evening and Weekend hours will be required
