Areas to Volunteer:
Student Programs - Gay-Straight Alliances, GLSEN Days of Action/Support, JumpStart student leadership team, Students of Color Organizing (SOCO)
Educator Programs - trainings, workshops, Safe Space Campaign, No Name-Calling Week, Changing the Game (sports initiative)
Fundraising - online solicitations, mailings, working events, writing grant proposals
Research - promoting participation in the National School Climate Survey, conducting evaluations, promoting reports
Policy - discussions/meetings, advocacy (local, state, and federal level policy)
Community Outreach - social media, press releases, tabling events, TV/radio PSAs, networking, public speaking
Chapter membership - develop and support your chapter, have a say in important decisions
Other special skills - graphic design, event planning, etc
