About The Birch Collective: Located at 91 Mamaroneck Avenue in the heart of White Plains, The Birch Collective has quickly become a mainstay for the LGBTQ community as a warm & welcoming establishment, even in its first 8 months of operating. Matthew Gagnon Guastaferri, The Birch Collective's owner, is proudly married to his husband of 5 years; they were among the first gay couple’s in NY State to establish their union once the overturn of DOMA happened back in June of 2013 when Matthew was able to sponsor his Canadian partner for his permanent resident status. Creating a space where every individual felt welcome and at peace to be themselves was paramount to Guastaferri when conceptualizing The Birch Collective.
