From the Peekskill Pride Organizers:

"Due to busy lives and schedules, our group had decided to not have a pride event for 2018. However, there was an
outcry from Peekskill and a request for an event. With this very short notice, we are producing “A Look Back at Pride”.
This is an evening where members from the Stonewall Veterans Association will come and speak to open the event.
Following the talk, we will be having very well-known NYC/Fire Island DJ Max Rodriguez as our DJ for the evening. We
are also working to get community talent to present spoken word and songs throughout the event.
Within the last week, we have had an outpouring of support from the local community. Over 20 works of art have been
donated for a silent auction along with gift certificates to restaurants and experiences that will fill our raffle table.
Councilperson Vanessa Agudelo has been a champion for the LGBTQ+ community and pledged her support to this event,
as well as many others in the community."
