LOFT Book Club at The LOFT

The LOFT Book Club is an open group which meets monthly to discuss different LGBT literary selections.

From Pulp Fiction to Queer Literature, The LOFT’s Book Club is your way of keeping up on the latest in LGBT literature, while finally getting to those better-known genre pieces you haven’t gotten around to reading.

The LOFT Book Club is presented by The LOFT Library & David Bohnett Cyber Center.

The LOFT: LGBT Community Services Center
252 Bryant Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605

The group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

Next Meeting: Tuesday, March 21st

March 2017 Book Selection:

The Good Girls Revolt by Lynn Povich

In 1969, while a cultural revolution swept through the free world, there was still one place that refused to change with the times: newsrooms. Good Girls Revolt follows a group of young female researchers at “News of the Week,” who ask to be treated fairly. Their revolutionary request sparks convulsive changes and upends marriages, careers, sex lives, love lives, and friendships.
