Giving Men a Voice

We are pleased to invite your participation in Giving Men a Voice, a study of gay and bisexual men and their service providers.  Funded by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, this study is exploring the health and sexual experiences of Black and Latino men who have sex with men (MSM) in the New York City area, and how their service providers respond to these issues.

We are recruiting service providers from a variety of disciplines and settings to participate in individual interviews, during which we will learn about your professional background and experiences delivering services, in particular for MSM who identify as Black or Latino.  Interviews will take approximately 90 minutes, and can be held at our offices in Chelsea or Lower Manhattan, or in a private space at your workplace.  Each service provider will receive a $30 honorarium for participation.

If you'd like to learn more about this initiative or arrange an interview, please contact us at:  [email protected] or 212-845-4412 or 212-845-4411.  Your participation and the information you share are protected by a certificate of confidentiality.

Please feel free to forward this announcement to other service providers and organizations who may be interested.  We appreciate your consideration and hope to meet with you soon!
