Due to high demand, access to the exhibiting employers’ section of the Career Fair will be available in two separate sessions held during the day. Panel discussions, workshops and career coaching will be available all day regardless of your session time. Registration will close on Friday, October 4 at 4 p.m. EST.

The New York City Anti-Violence Project (AVP) envisions a world in which all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, (LGBTQ) and HIV-affected people are safe, respected, and live free from violence. AVP’s mission is to empower LGBTQ and HIV- affected communities and allies to end all forms of violence through organizing and education, and support survivors through counseling and advocacy. AVP’s Community Organizing and Public Advocacy (COPA) department uses organizing, policy advocacy, political education and training and technical assistance to advance local and national efforts to respond, address and prevent violence.
The Visiting Nurse Service of New York is hiring a Peer Navigator who can provide a broad array of counseling/support services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS, and/or HIV negative, homeless and transgender persons, including persons with serious mental illness (SMI). The VNSNY is the nation's largest not-for-profit home- and community-based health care organization, serving the five boroughs of New York City and Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties.

|Hudson Valley Community Services (HVCS) is hiring a PHA Prevention Specialist. The PHA Prevention Specialist delivers peer-driven services to YMSMs between the ages of 13 to 24 in the counties of Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Westchester. The programs goal is to increase awareness of HIV/HCV/STI status through educational workshops and outreach events and to refer young men at risk for testing, linking them to treatment and encouraging behavior modification to lower infection risk.|
|Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic is looking for a Health Care Assistant, who will serve as a fundamental member of the health center operations and clinical support team. Applicant must successfully complete assigned support tasks under supervision of center management and licensed clinical staff. Additionally, they must provide essential assistance to maximize center flow, patient satisfaction, safety of PPHP’s services, and internal customer service.|
|Montefiore Medical Center is hiring a Outreach Representative at their Yonkers location. Individuals interested in this position should be comfortable with community-based and social network outreach, rapid HIV testing, Mpowerment intervention referrals, and PrEP/PEP education and referrals. Additionally, they will assist the Montefiore team with other services geared towards the LGBTQ+ community in Yonkers and the Bronx.|
Heath Research Incorporated is looking for a Public Health Representative to work closely with Hispanic and Latino Men who have Sex with Men (HLMSM). The goal of such a position would be to work towards better health outcomes for HLMSM, a historically underserved population.
