The Artists LOFT is a fun night out to let your creativity flow.  Come and meet new people and do something exciting through art activities. The group will meet on select Mondays from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the center. October meetings will be on the 8th and 22nd.

The 1st Monday meeting will feature an art workshop.  Art can take many forms, drawing, sculpture, painting, music, poetry, dance, performance, the possibilities are really endless. Through activities, guest speakers and inspiring one another, the group will explore a different art medium each workshop evening.  Topics will be selected based on the interests of the group's participants and publicized in advance. 

The 2nd Monday meeting will feature Thrift Flip.  Have you seen the design show Flea Market Flipon HGTV...this is the same concept of taking items from The LOFT's thrift stop and reinventing them. We will give new life to items in Memorial Thrift Shop, the sales of these items support The LOFT and MUMC. 

No artistic experience necessary (this is a judgement free zone, especially on yourself) and materials will be provided.
